question on editing

Not sure that this is the correct forum for this, but I'll take a chance.

I think I am missing something somewhere. When I post new, or reply, I would like to come up in the advanced, full-blown editor, not the quick reply box. I've gone to Settings / General Settings and selected the option for Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing, but it doesn't come up automatically. I have to click the Advanced button.

What am I not doing correctly?

I'm not sure there is a way to do that, Balrog. Tho' I have been wrong on such board features before :chuckles:.

Ah, it seems there is a way. Just use ALT + x.

But it seems that if you want to reply with a quote from a particular post you have to do it the way you have been so far .
