Online translation tools? Chinese to English

Hey everyone,

Is there a reliable and free (preferably) online/downloadable translation tool that can translate documents in written Chinese to English? The documents are hand-written, so sometimes might not be perfectly clear characters.

Google translate is not to awfully bad, but you should always check the translation in recerse to be sure.

However the translate app on the iPhone is pretty good, and you can scan characters. I used it in Tokyo, Taipei and Hong Kong.
