Oklahoma city threatens to call FBI over 'renegade' Linux maker

This is why these "experts" get laughed at by the tier 1 techs. I've dealt with similar "experts".

The heartland turned vicious this week when an Oklahoma town threatened to call in the FBI because its web site was hacked by Linux maker Cent OS. Problem is CentOS didn't hack Tuttle's web site at all. The city's hosting provider had simply botched a web server.

I read the story this morning. It is just as funny the second time around.

Bob, did you read the transcript of the e-mails, very amusing?

I was impressed by the tech-guy's self control. I probably would have told the guy off loooong before the end and not helped him fix his problem quite honestly. I don't deal well with threats.
