I recently helped my dear friend and author of this book translate it into English.
It’s interesting because it looks at Iaido from a different perspective. I did this translation as a favour to him as I think it’s an important book. Do have a look.

Very nice. That looks like the kind of thing that would be right up my alley.

Make sure you order the second edition…the first edition is unreadable! 😄

That’s my Gassan school sword on the cover 🤓

I echo Flying Crane's thoughts. It seems like a worthy read for serious students of MA. From my few years in iaido I can attest to some of the benefits it can provide, as shown in the book's Amazon link.

Giorgio Zoly, the author has a further four books that I’ll translate and with equally tangential observations on martial arts training and tips including one on Judo, his other love.

Did you translate the title? I'm not sure I'd translate Heijoshin no Ken as "The sword of each day", as that's a whole group of words that simply aren't present in the Japanese.

Christmas is coming up soon and this would be a great stocking filler for the swords person on your life!😉
