My mother and step-father are both turning 65 this winter (January and December, respectively) and neither one needs anything, and they both enjoy going out to good restaurants - so I thought I'd buy them a gift certificate for a nice restaurant in their area. They live in Plano, which is a 'burb of Dallas, and I'm looking for suggestions for really nice restaurants - I'm thinking maybe $100 or so gift card to a particular restaurant; if I send them a Visa or Amex card, they'll likely use it for something prosaic like paint for the house, and I don't want to do that; I want them to go out somewhere nice for their birthdays. Any suggestions? Preferably with a website where I can order the card... but I can always find phone numbers.
