I missed everyday last week except for Monday.. due to what seemed like a groin pull (sharp pain in that area if I do anything that pulls on it). I had injured a few months back after doing an axe kick to the top of bob's head.. right before a tournament, and it hasn't been right since.

The other night in class I hurt it again, while stretching. Now I am worried that I'm going to hurt it every time I try to kick higher than waist level and once again put me out of commission.

I'm not sure what to do.. its still a little tender.. but I do not want to keep missing class.

anyone else have this problem?

I had that problem a few years ago and I was told by my doctor it was not a goin pull but rather a stain on that muscle area for lack of stretching properly and long enough. Now he also advised me to tape that general area for better support and till I felt more comfi. with all the stretching.

I do not know if you have the same problem but maybe taping or wrapping that area will help you.

Terry is likely correct - nonetheless, if you have an injury that is not healing, you should go see a doctor, and try to get a referral to a physical therapist or sports medicine specialist, who can diagnose you more specifically and show you exercises designed to rehabilitate the muscles involved and reduce the risk of future injury.
