Hey everyone,

i thought it would be interesting to see how different people fair in this test. so far ive only seen how scientists have faired (me and my housemates). apparently if you get 19 or more you are a genius (definately not true!). i managed 31 before i got bored and looked up the answers.

http://intelligence-test.net/part1/

p.s. its a british based test, some of the clues refer to things that are common here in the UK but might not be familiar to people from the US

I spelled Millennium wrong ... had to look it up at m-w.com

I got twelve of them, before I cried uncle. I am not very patient.

Most of those that I solved were related to time.

Seen this before and played with it for a couple of days or so, sent it to a friend and he told me he hated me :)

I don't remember what I got on my own (21 I think) but between the two of us we figured all but one out. I am sure it is easy to someone but if someone could tell me what #31 is, I sure would appreciate it.

It's "6 balls to an over in cricket" - but I had to ask one of my students who is from England to get that one!

28 before I got bored. Lisa, I have no idea what 31 is.

Some of them are so far fetched that they made my head spin. The hint about it being British based does help a bit.

Anyone missing any answers, I will share by PM if you really need to know :)

You have to be careful not to capitalize any words, otherwise it marks you as wrong.

Second set looks a little harder. Will give it a try once I am more awake ;)

yeah it marks you down for that, and double spaces and missing ' etc.

its a bit annoying but not the end of the world

#21 is 64 S on a C B
which I answered as 64 Squares on a Checker Board and all variants, including chess.

I got the February one.

I did...I still got the red rectangle. I still got 20, even without that one. So, eh :)

I had a problem like that too. Ended up erasing the square completely and retyping it. Try that without capital letters and it should work

It doesn't matter if you write the answers in uppercase or lowercase, but the answers
must be exactly as expected (no additional intervals or dashes and the spelling must be correct).

from the web site. I'm just a bad speller :)

It's not case-sensitive, but it's very spelling-sensitive. Also, after you get one, hit the tab button and if it's right, it will go green.
