How about just making sure they show up for work on time, and stay awake their whole shifts. Oh yeah, less hookers in the towers too.

Thanks.

Hookers!! Wut!!! LOL! Seriously though, this is one of those jobs where ALOT of lives are depending on the people in those towers. If the people who have these jobs, aren't taking them seriously, then get them the hell out. As I've said before, I dont fly enough to let half this **** bother me, but when I do, dammit, I wanna be safe!

Rest is key. Speaking as someone who works in a place where the safety of the people in the field is very important, but also as someone who has to work mandated shifts, I can attest to the fact that some R&R is important, if you want to function to the very best of your ability.

I dont know why it took numerous 'near hits' as the late Geoge Carlin (RIP) would say, before the 'lights' went off, and someone realized there was a problem.

There were at least 2 cases I recall from a few years back at the Buffalo Niagara air port. The night shift brought a few 'dancers' from one of the near by 'clubs' in for some late shift entertainment.
