One of my TKD students sent this to me - the article is funny enough, but the video clip is even better!

I found this amusing story about a not so thought out advertisement and figured you'd appreciate it.

Ham for Hanukkah?

NEW YORK -- A famous Greenwich Village gourmet grocery is feeling some holiday heat after advertising that its boneless spiral ham is "Delicious for Chanukah."
<snip>
Shapiro went back Sunday and took photos of the "unorthodox" display, which promoted boneless spiral-cut hams for $8.99 a pound, petite smoked hams for $6.99 a pound and boneless smoked hams for $6.29 a pound.

heh....got to work on that pitch I think...

What made this a good story is not only the mistake but the fact that no-one went ballistic and was all offended and threatened to sue and raise hell over it.
They just "chuckled" and went on. That by itself speaks volumes.

Doh!

**edit**

Ummmm...my caps are working there. heh

:duh: I'm sure they were only selling the kosher hams to their jewish customers :uhyeah:
