I take about three classes a week and help out with about 6-8 classes a week. Tournament and Demo practices have started up again though, so I haven't had as much time to help...

When I started TKD, it was three times a week=3 hrs. (white belt-orange)
Then it went to two classes a day occasionally=4 (green)
then two classes daily x3 a week=6 hrs. (high green to blue)
then two classes daily x 3 + one out of town class = 7 (blue)
then two classes daily x 3 +one + leading 3 kickboxing classes=10 hrs. (high blue-black lst)
then all that plus coming in early 1 hr. at noon class
and practicing all forms on Sun., total gym & kicks etc. =14 hrs. (black 1st-2nd)

Now, my knees need rest so I'm back to three classes-2 hrs. each at noon, plus 1-2 night classes + Saturday my own workout 2 hrs + teaching 1 class. = 9-10 hrs. training

I think if you want to become better, you got to put in the time (and effort).

Not nearly enough. I actually don't train in a dojo, rather, a garage, but right now, only once a week. Oooohhhh I wish I could find the time and money to make it a daily thing. So, alas, I spend a lot of time working things alone. Sigh.
