Heya people!

The name's Auvic, I'm a Texan like the guy who posted just below this (originally), and have been doing martial arts for....coming onto 4 years or so now.
I've been doing Karate - Shorin-Ryu, to be exact - for these past four years, although I've also been exposed to glimpses of other styles as well. I just received my black belt - the rank of Shodan-Ho, actually - this past week, and am....well, about as new as you can get to this entire thing.

Which means that any advice that you more experienced people would like to share would be greatly appreciated.
