Google has finally decided to release gmail to the public without an invatation. So you I believe can now sign up without the invitation you had to before.

I don't know how many more people will use it. I know a good number of people who have it already. I'm sure a lot more will sign up but really I don't know anyone one else from my list of friends who will really care because they are stuck on their yahoo or hotmail accounts. (any tips for me on how to get them to switch... )
