It was good to know that this dog was able to be functional again but it took a while. Amazing story about a bomb-sniffer that was traumatized during her tour of duty in Iraq.

Considering how highly social and sensitive dogs are, it comes as no surprise to me. I've never understood people who claim that animals have no intelligence or personalities.
