At a seminar in Pikesville,MD, Mr. Parker told a story about a demonstration he did before then "Govenor Ronald Reagan" of California. At one point, Mr. Parker was explaining and demonstrating a technique on Gov. Reagan and while performing a raking claw action as in hooking wings or bow of compulsion. And as Mr. Parker performed the action, He inadvertantly "nipped the tip" of the Govenor!
Years later, Mr. Parker was in negotiations with Casper Wineburger [sp?], then chief of staff at the then for now "President Reagan" regarding starting a self defense program for the federal marshalls. He was in a phone conversation with Mr. Parker in the oval office and as he finished the conversation, President Reagan entered and overheard the tail end of the conversation. After Wineburger hung up, President Reagan said "Did you say Ed Parker? I remember Ed Parker! He nipped my tutu!!!

Rest in peace, Ronald Reagan

I hope that I was of some service,

That is a neat story. I believe both men will be sorely missed.
