Wow, that is pretty interesting. I like the idea of special training to pass on the knowledge of tai chi, chi kung, etc. at a high level before that knowledge is lost. I'm out of the age range, but that is a big commitment. To be honest, I don't know if I could dedicate 10 years of my early adult years to constant martial arts training.

Ahhh, the dream of the Shaolin Temple. Sounds like a great thing, I believe my Sifu knows Dr. Yang, and has good respect for him. If I was in the age group, and had fewer obligations, I think I might apply...

I woulda applied. At the time the article was written though, he already had a list of 100 finalists.
