Downward force

This clip shows what is described as “downward force” — not pushing, but a loss of support through the opponent’s structure.

Similar qualities can be seen in the Huang Sheng Shyan match that follows, where timing, balance disruption, and redirection — rather than force can be observed at work, consistent with principles like 束 (sƍng) and 搏ćŠČ (tÄ«ng jĂŹn).

While the match remains controversial for some, it does illustrate the distinctive methods of Huang’s practice in use.
