If money was no object what kind of car would you like to have?

I have narrowed my pick down to a Porche, Hummer, Corvette Stingray, or a Ferrari.

Corvette and Hummer. Of course, those would be the toys, so for everyday driving, something more sensible would be in order. :)

Does the 'if money was no object' cover insurance, fuel and maintenance, or just the sticker price of the vehicle?

I've got little use for my car as it is, I live in NY and take the train everywhere because it's cheaper and in most cases quicker. Saturday was the first time I drove since the beginging of the month, it's basically a supermarket mobile and when I have to go to a concert/game out of the area.

I have a Mitsubishi Galant but I love my mother's new Dodge Durango.

Not a bad choice, Tellner - an electric Lotus .

For me tho', the choice would never be simple.

If I could have only one then it would have to be an Aston Martin DBS.

I had the great pleasure to be around one of these the other month at the UKGTP8 (Gran Turismo LAN party). One of the members works for Aston Martin and wangled permission for us to have the other one (the one that wasn't on Top Gear) to play with:

Sadly, due to immense hangover issues, I never got my chance to drive her :(.

I would have:

'75 Corvette Stingray (red or white)
'69 Mustang Boss (black)
'80 Trans Am (black w/ gold firebird on the hood)
'71 Camaro (blue)

I love muscle cars <3

If I had to pick a newer car I'd go with:

'05 Porsche Carrera (black)
'04 Lotus Elise (orange)
