OK, so a US civics exam was posted in another thread, and I, a Canadian got 77%.
Let us see how everyone makes out with a practice Canadian citizenship exam.
I got 49/50. Stupid error on my part....
I'm interested in seeing how our US friends do regarding basic knowledge of Canada. Can you beat 77%?
It is actually quite easy.

You answered correctly 36 out of 50 questions. Your score is 72%.

I don't know **** about how your government works, but your country was the last stop on the Underground Railroad during slavery times here, and my ancestor's homes and ships in NY were sometimes o their second to last stop. My dad went to Trinity College, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Rita-that's the wife-has relatives in Edmonton, and I suppose my family owns some land up around Great Slave Lake, though I've never seen it.

So I know a little less about your country than you do about mine-I must confess, I think of you as the 51st state, most of the time, and know more about your country than I do about Iowa....:lfao:

Well I don’t know how I did on the citizenship test but I did find out I was qualified to receive an Apple iPad2 and that I had 2 minutes to claim the offer.. :D

Now which Province should I pick?

Our exam covers all 50 states so this is just not fair…you only need to take 1 test we need to take 13 :D

I chose Ontario since it's south of me (hehehe, many people don't know that 'South Detroit' is Windsor, Ontario).

RESULT:
You need 75% to pass the test.
The time you spent was 1 minute and 5 seconds.
You answered correctly 5 out of 5 questions. Your score is 100%.

I totally guessed. Really.

60%... not bad considering I've never been there or had much to do with the government or history of the Great White North.

47/50 -- 94%

Figured once you were out of Montreal most Quebecois were monolingual, so listed Ontario as having the most bilingual people... WRONG!!!
Early explorers went to Eastern Canada for trade with the Indians, interesting, I thought the Vikings came in the 10th century for immigration.
BC is the Pacific Gateway, and not just because it's on the west coast... D'oh!!!
