B.L was a bookworm who knew some Gong Fu, it seemingly was after the challenge fight against Gong Fu master Wong Jackman he realized his physique [and psyche] wasn’t up to that level of challenge, so he took up bodybuilding, however he seems to not have taken on any more challenge fights despite his aim to make himself stronger for such endeavors. He of course got busy reading again but leaving the books in the bookcase for reading film manuscripts instead,
