Blocks besides 360 defense?

Besides the 360 defense to block punches, what blocks are used for straight on punches? Is it the same thing just tweaked for inside defense?

From what I've learned so far, the inside defense for a straight punch is a bladed same-side hand aimed at the wrist and slid down the forearm of the attacker. This allows the defender to deflect the path of the punch. Add in a slight head movement to the same side hand used to deflect and you've moved off-line to the attack.
