When you go to practice do you feel like you are on an island by yourself, what I mean is do you feel you are the only one that understands that day and everybody else is just not getting it?

All the time, I worked out today with an 18 y/o......I have never felt so out of shape, and I just could not get him to understand why I can't kick like that anymore.

I do, but not all the time. Sometimes when I'm like that, I just go inside myself and shut everyone else out, simply for the reason you stated. I also know when I do that, it gets misinterpreted by the people around me, so I try not to make a habit of it. Sometimes though.....

Sometimes I just zone. I cannot help it. Sometimes during class it becomes "All about me" even though Tae Kwon Do is a "Fraternity/sorority" of sorts it is still about personalization and individual accomplishment.

Yeah, sometimes I do. When I went to our National Conference & trained under GM Park, I felt like a white belt all of a sudden. Watching Last Fearner doing forms next to me (doing very well) I really felt alone on an island.

You mean he's highly intelligent, experienced AND can execute?
