JUNEAU, Alaska — The Alaska lawmaker denied a flight from a Seattle airport after refusing a pat-down search is expected back in Juneau on Thursday.
State Rep. Sharon Cissna is returning to work at the state Legislature by ferry. Juneau is only accessible by air or water.
Cissna says she underwent a body scan as she prepared to leave Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Sunday but refused to submit to what she called an invasive pat-down after the scan showed scars from her breast cancer.
Cissna has had a mastectomy. She says she had submitted to such a search in the past and vowed never to endure it again.

It won't. Such lawmakers taking stands are few.
A shame we'll never hear about the Presidents daughter getting a TSA grope.
That "Privileged Class" thing.
