Hello my Martial Arts family,

This question was on my mind all day now I know that strength, and technique goes hand and hand.

Do you guys think that some people concentrate on strength more than skill?

Yes, I think that it is motivted at least in part, but people assuming if they put more power (strength) behind a move, it will automatically be better...

I think that some people do; too many people equate strength (muscle) with power. Larger/stronger people can get away with this; smaller/weaker people are much more likely to develop an understanding of power, because they simply don't have the brute strength (muscle) to develop power unless they develop skill (technique). But it's not a hard-and-fast rule; I know some large people who have power and strength, and some smaller people who think they have power but are relying on strength instead.
