Who do you think will run in 2008?

Tell me who you think is likely to run and who the frontrunners are.

I just hope that Cheney doesn't run...if he became president I would move to a different country.

I agree with arnisador about HIllary and McCain, but I don't think Jeb will run in 2008, not after the issues his bro is having. As an advisor I would be afraid too many people would automatically associate Jeb with G.W. and the bad feelings he's really raising, so would say not until 2012 if democrats win in 2008. I could also see that illinois senator/rep or whatever he is, running, Obama something....

Isn't Obama very junior, like this is his first term in any political office? If I am right about this, then I would think he might have a hard time...

You know what...I don't particulary like Hiliary Clinton....but it would shake up things....

Clinton vs McCain would be a very close debate......

I actually was hoping McCain would have got through the ringer when Bush was running...to bad he didn't....nobody could be worse than who is there now.

I've never wanted to be president, and the older I get, the less I envy anyone in that position. I've brushed up against politics on the local level, and it all leaves a bad taste in my mouth. No matter WHO you are, and this is becoming truer and truer each day, at BEST only half the country even remotely likes you.....at the very least the other half wouldn't spit on you if your hair was on fire.

Nearly every president, becomes president in the hopes that he will be the great uniter. They all leave office after 4 years or 8 years disheartened, dispirited, jaded and FAR MORE than 8 years older than they came in. I have NO doubt that nearly every president in US history (to include the current one...I don't care what anyone says) became president with the greatest of goals and intentions. They ALL leave different men. Power always looks desireable....but it's also a burden and a curse.

It has to be one of the loneliest jobs on the planet......You can have it if you want it Bob...But don't say I didn't warn you.

I'm waiting to see who the Libertarians and Green have in motion. Unfortunately, both parties tend to be, ah, lax in site updates.

Maybe Jesse The Body Ventura will make a play?

I do like the idea of voting for third party candidates. It sends a message (I hope).

I too don't see Dick Cheney running. It would never fly.

Why not Edwards for the Democrats?

Also Badnarek of the Libertarian was the only non-traditional party candidate that had his name in all 50 states. I think this shows due care, and concern for everyone, in the process, and not just the "BIG" states.
