I am feeling so left out!
My knees are just fine!
When one hurts, it's usually something stupid like sciatica, or twisting it in a dumb way.

Yeah.....you know.....its time

Rassin frassin no good no account annoying waste of hard drive space.....OFFICE O365!!!!!

Don't ask me how, because I do not know. Mine stopped working on one of my PCs and WHY did it stop working.....some of the needed files...that are required for the stupid ding dang thing to run......VANISHED!!!!!

Got to love cloud based software.....it is sooooooo helpful and easy to use..... that is unless you are use to the full installs of the software that actually work and seem to work really well for years.......stupid ding dang O365

Uninstall, run the O365 cleaner, and then reinstall and hope this O365 junk works again.

I need to workout today. And I feel really good. But I have to go shopping at three different places, run into work on my day off for something, cook and do a bunch of other stuff.

So I'm really looking for an excuse to skip a workout today. Anybody got any spare excuses I can use?
Similar but different.... Why is it that on the very day when I need to do five loads of laundry, some ironing, grocery shopping, translation, work, and general cleanup my motivation just buggers off? I think my motivation is a cat.

I'm not in Hawaii......like SOME people on MT :D

Oh, and I'm going to Boston this weekend.

Have to give you big mahalos for yesterday. I was really looking for an excuse to not work out. But your post got so under my skin I ended up working out like a banshee. Then ran all errands, and worked out some more. Heck, I was even working out, squeezing in last sets of planks and what not all the way up until bedtime. So, thanks, bro. :)

I'm headed to Boston in a couple months. Too bad it wasn't at the same time, I would have corrupted you badly. There probably would have been wanted posters.

in the "I never thought I'd see it happen, not in a million years" department.

In May, more money was bet at New Jersey sportsbooks than Nevada sportsbooks. It's the first month that's ever happened. $318.9 million was bet in May at New Jersey books. $317.4 was bet in May at Nevada books.

Might be the end of the world.

Thanks for sharing that information about arthritis and arthroscopy. I wasn't aware of that, and it possibly explains some of the current issues with my right knee.
I hope the procedure has gotten much better since the early 90's. You can Google sites specific to arthroscopy. The reviews are mixed but I am sure that has much to do with the differences in people.
I got pretty banged up in the early 2000's so I can't really tell what is the root cause of some pains. The left knee was totally trashed and is 12° out of place. I always overuse the right knee. It is very strange the differences in pain form left to right knee. If I step wrong with the left leg it feels like I have been strongly shocked. The right knee just has a dull pain most of the time but I trust my right leg much more so, a catch 22 I suppose.

Sorry to hear that, man. I've been lucky to never experience a migraine, though the Hobbit does deal with them from time to time.

Do not go into the light. Especially with a migraine.
Back in 1982 I was working out on a factory floor and had a blinding head pain and passed out. I was out for about 20 seconds then came around. I felt totally fine after several minutes and needed to finish the work I was doing so stayed for about 3 more hours. I stood up from a workstation and the same thing happen. I was carried to the ER where they checked out the vitals but nothing was found. An appointment was made with a Neurologist and they did a CT or MRI (I forget) and said I had a Cluster headache. He said I may have then every day or never have one again. Thankfully it has been the latter. I have never had headache issues so it was a very bizarre thing.

I did some quick research, and it looks like the small tears caused by arthroscopy are still an issue. In one study of meniscus tears, 100% of knees receiving arthroscopy developed arthritis shortly afterward, compared to 59% of knees that were treated only with physical therapy. Of course, that doesn't include whether the PT was an equal relief for the initial meniscus issue or not.

I get Migraines, and when I get 1 I am generally going to have 2 more within a week, I tend to go partially blind, an they hurt, but they are nothing like that. I hope you never have another. But if I am around Mrs Xue when they start, she puts needles in my head and I skip the blindness, the pain and go directly to the logy, tired bits.

Well, that's "back day" taken care of.

Just finished up doing some paving with no mechanical (or actually, any) assistance - reusing what are colloquially known as "council slabs" (local authority used them all over the place, 2' square and just over 2" thick).

Now got about 2 1/2 hours to chill, shower, then go to tkd.

Then hopefully tonight or over the weekend going to look at a cyclo-cross bike - if the seller ever responds (he's probably at work to be fair, damn these normal people doing 9-5).
