Not in his opinion. To Arlovski, all those mistakes were notches on the same thread, and with a mental adjustment he says he's already made, none of those mistakes should repeat themselves come UFC 61.

"My mistake was that I wanted to beat him so much that I didn't listen to the instructions from my trainers and that lead to those big mistakes" says the 27 year old fighter.

"My training is such that I'm comfortable doing all of those things, ankle lock, passing the guard, going for chokes, but I wanted to beat him so much that I wasn't smart".
