My son is 12 and has been actively practicing taek Kwon do since he has been 4. He currently has a red belt and his teacher feels he is prepared for the black belt test at the fee of $1000 which seems to be outrageous. After looking up the topic I see most answers are I. Agreement and some even say a 12 year old should not be taking a black belt test
