Hello!
I have a passion for martial arts from around the world and aspire to master Taekkyun, a traditional Korean martial art.
Today, I'd like to introduce a technique called "Gyeotchagi (곁차기)", which my master Hwang taught me.
It involves lifting your leg diagonally to strike the opponent's chin or face.
My master Hwang executes this with minimal movement in his upper body, maintaining his guard, but I find it challenging.
He also emphasizes lifting the ankle of the supporting foot during the kick to enhance power, which I struggle with.
If you have any tips on controlling the ankle of the supporting foot, please let me know!
