Hey, I'm clueless, I know..but can someone please tell me what an X-kan is? I know it refers to ninjitsu in some way (I think). Any helpers?

X-kan is news to me...

Unless it's ex-ka maybe, an odd way of saying an ex member of the class....

Probably not, but it's my best shot!

X-kan is a term used to reffer to the three traditional style ninjutsu organizations. They are The BujinKan, Genbukan and JinenKan. They are all decended from the Bujinkan organization of Hatsumi Sensei.

My ninjas are already on their way. :D

So in essence, an X-kan is theoretically anyone practicing Ninjitsu/Ninpo?

Yes, and any of us that are outside of the X-Kans are affectionatly termed "neo" Ninja :(
If you are not in an X Kan then by and large you are not practicing Ninpo or Ninjutsu. That being the wide opinion.
