Who needs more than 7 rounds?

The idea that handguns "only need" a specific number of rounds to be effective self defence tools would be laughable..if it wasn't so ingorant.

The second video has a better view of the initial shooting... it starts at the 57 second mark...

If you notice, the guy was hit...and he kept shooting. He was shooting against trained police officers...imagine a civilian having to shoot in the same situation...they might just need those extra bullets in their gun, especially if they are hit in the first exchange of gunfire. After that first hit, their small motor skills are going out the window, so changing a 7 round magazine would be a lot more difficult...while if the had 15 or 30 rounds, they may not have to change the magazine...

2. Calling standard capacity magazines high capacity is dishonest in the extreme.
