I'd give this game a shot but unfortunately I admittedly don't know enough about the Stock Market and how it works to be able to play it efficiently.

I should though... could this be used as a training tool?

I would think so.

In my Microeconomics class we used something similar. It allowed us to get a feel for how to actually play the Stocks, while providing a competitive spirit behind all of it(Students were playing against other students.)
