To say Asia is a powder keg would be an understatementÂ…

Is there hope it wonÂ’t explode or is it simply a matter of time?

United States B-52 bombers carried out simulated nuclear bombing raids on North Korea as part of ongoing U.S.-South Korean military exercises, Pentagon officials said on Monday.

Deputy defense secretary Ashton Carter said during a visit to South Korea on Monday that the bomber flights are part of the U.S. “extended deterrence”—the use of U.S. nuclear forces to deter North Korea, which conducted its third underground nuclear test Feb. 12.

Ever been under a B-52 when it flies over..... even on friendly soil...it is a scary thing.

I was a student at a college (briefly) that was near a field for B-52s and the college was in the flight path. I use to ask the administration/teachers every chance I got...did they intentionally build the school in the flight path of B-52 to keep the students in line or was it just the luck of the draw

I agree. Living by Nellis, we see all kinds of aircraft, but even just a single B-52 will leave you awe struck.

Ought to "accidentally" drop and detonate a live one...
I remember thinking Clinton must have grown a pair when that happened.

I grew up going to the airshow at NAS Lemoore. I always thought it was awesome.
Then, I was stationed at Fort Lewis and went to the air show at McCord Air Force Base.
B 52's F16's F 15's T 38's and a Mach .90 flyby from a B1.
Navy airshows are good, but, Air Force sets the standard.
