I have a friend who is a 2nd dan Tae Kwon Do and is a red belt in my dads hapkido class. He and I were talking about the great benefits of TKD and its benefit of great training and workout. We both agreed during conversation, that if you practice your kicking each leg daily and well as work all your forms like you would perform for tournament then you would get a fantastic workout. Don't forget one steps and basic, but you get the idea.

Yes, I agree. Practicing your forms at different speeds always helps out as well.

I remember my 1st instructor saying, "after you do your form one time (w/ focus energy & power) you should be sweating a lot." I've found that to be true, even when I do the basic forms the way they are intended.
