Our house is almost paid off!
My wife's and my job are pretty safe as we are rather critical to our industry (and well over 30 years experience to boot!)
But, I still don't take that as a guarantee! Noooo Sir!!!
Hence we are almost paid off on all our debts (car as well as house.)
And I am very well trained at keeping what I have, if you know what I mean.
