the future of Karate; no rules; no tradition; win (kill) at all cost?

I think it might be difficult to get parents to send their kids to this, and here in the UK at least the kid's class is the lifeblood of the karate class

Also, I can't see the MMA crowd being keen on signing up for something that-frankly- reeks of bullshido and traditional martial artists won't want to change what they're already doing

Here is the thing…. This is what comes to mind when you talk about this being the future in the USA.

A lot of guns here

Did you know that scene was ad-libbed. It was intended to be a whip fight scene. But, it was a long day everyone was tired and Harrison Ford just on the spot decided to shoot the guy to get the scene over. Director liked it so much kept the scene in.

Problem with carrying a gun is it has limited options. shoot the person kill them then deal with aftermath. shoot and wound person they sue you. do nothing and be a victim. draw gun but don't shoot, you have just elevated the violence level-maybe aggressor turns and runs...but what if they don't? I have a friend who carries concealed. Buys a new gun puts it in holster and walks out door. Doesn't break in gun or see how it shoots. I asked him how frequently does he shoot his carry gun, Once a year or so runs one magazine through it. My opinion BAD. just me.
