If you rent or hire a hall to use as a dojo, it can be really annoying when people walk on the dojo with their shoes on, especially leisure centre staff. Here's a video that tries to explain why.

I think it’s very odd that people wear their outdoor footwear inside their houses! They walk on pavements and other areas where dogs defaecate and urinate, where discarded food, laden with ever-multiplying bacteria lie and pick these up on their footwear and then trample them through their abode. Weird…
