Haha, I love the taped on training shoe, so life like, have you considered letting kids to throw rock at you, it's great for build reactions and movement

This was just thrown together quick, so folks get the idea. Of course, all your suggestions would make it better. Including being able to adjust the height.

That's a fine suggestion.

However, any compensation for work performed constitutes labor; and child labor is met with harsh fines and other penalties. Also, as per our environmentalist lobby; any changes to the landscape requires a permit. More extreme environmentalists would picket and complain about ignoring how the rock migh feel; being used that way.

In the end, it is simply easier to use a device like the one above.

If they complain about that stuff, give them the same lesson in dodging rocks that the kids gave you.
