According to the site...

Dante became involved in the Purolator Armored Car Robbery in 1974 that netted four million dollars. Soon after the robbery, Dante mysteriously died and was buried in an unmarked grave.

This dude led an....interesting...life.

That man scared the bejeezus out of me as a kid. He and the 6' tall glow-in-the-dark skeleton were the bane of my comic book reading life.

Surprised to read that he was "Irish American"; I always assumed that that was a nice big 70s 'fro.

Correction: 5' skeleton. But still.

Man, I am old! Never saw one of these ads.....in my day, the ad was some bodybuilding hype that supposedly turned one into the "Hero of the Beach".

I'm guessing I now know where Ashida Kim got his shtick from.......
