Well judging from the name and the wording "summer tour dates" I'd say it's a band. http://www.oldparrot.fsnet.co.uk/ and Parrotheads (think Greatful Dead) are the fans.

Well I'm a long time fan and listener of Jimmy Buffet but I've never been to one of his concerts, so I guess I'm a poser parrothead
