An interesting comparison - as ever, some stereotypes hold true and some are but a veneer over the top of something more complex.
Geordies are the North East's 'hardmen' tho' - sort of like the Scots without kilts :lol:.
I well recall the Geordie I went to university with. He was a grand bloke, right up to the point he'd had too much to drink; then it was wisest to not be around him any more ... he had a habit of throwing beer kegs through plate glass windows, an action normally frowned upon by the authorities :lol:.
