Respect to him 100% but probably not the smartest move for him. Train yes but fighting...pretty risky for a guy in his condition

That's the balls.

You get to a certain age where you've paid your dues your whole life. Should be able to do whatever you want from there. You know, unless the wife says no.

Why would the wife say "no"? She gets to watch you get punched, kicked, and possibly thrown. Heck if she's mad at you enough she might jump in the ring and knock you out herself

His just might. I remember him saying at one time she had better kicks than him.

Nope, still a valid point.

You're not getting the dynamic. They don't mind the punching, kicking and throwing - just so long as it's them doing it...

If anyone else does it, they must feel like they're being robbed of the opportunity.

Maybe due to the fact she's worried about her husband dying or getting paralysed or serious brain damage maybe...
