hey i was thinking of going to vegas for my 21st birthday in a few weeks but i heard from some people that they shut down the casino cause of the taxing they wanted to get passed i find this hard to belive but is it ture if so i not going to get the air fair soon

You are probably hearing about New Jersey. Atlantic City casinos were closed the first few days in July because the State Government did not have a budget. The governor sent all state workers home. The casinoes in Atlantic City have NJ State Regulators on the floor during operating hours. Because these workers were sent home, the casinoes were unable to operate.

This issue was resolved. The casinoes are open and operating in NJ again.

I have not heard anything similiar to this affecting Las Vegas.

but Id say 3/4 of my BEST "OMG you will never beleieve this" stories are from that city.

Was in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and they were HAPPILY taking my money! *grin* Atlantic City got shut down for a few days but not Vegas Baby! Go, have a blast! It's a totally amazing place to party!

Yeah, Vegas is my favorite city in the states. I'd move there in a heartbeat, so I definitely think everyone should visit at least once in their life.

Go off the OLD strip at Freemont, and you can play PENNY SLOTS at the Gold spike... or if you just wanna have fun drop a couple on the ground and watch the winos fight over em so THEY can play the penny slots.
