A kenpo student here in Santa Rosa at a different school went down during class from non-injury related health complications, and left us despite the best CPR efforts of an on-site off-duty nurse, and the city paramedics. Out of respect for her family, I am leaving her name off this post, as well as the studio name and affiliations.

Her 15 year old daughter is also a student at the same school. In addition to her friends and family present, there were many kids in the school for a test. The impact of trauma for those who knew her, and those who witnessed her last moments will only be worked out over time; please keep this woman, her daughter, friends, kenpo family and the studio children in your prayers.

It is shocking and abrupt how this fragile coil of life can be so easily undone. Take care of yourselves, and love your families well.
