Just wanting to know if there is anyone else on Martial Talk from New Zealand other than myself and Sarah who belong to other styles. Just interested to know.

Hi there fellow kiwi. Yes there are more of us lingering around in this forum. There is another here as well (kenpo_chicK).

They better watch out, with four of us we may take over. :rolleyes:

Balintawak is part of our training from Green Belt up, my Instructor is Steve Wallace. Our weapons class is once a week and we some times get guest instructors in. I havent been doing it long enough to know much about it though.

I study here in the states with GM Ted Buot. It's cool to see how big the Balintawak family has gotten.

I think Balintawak is one of the more popular stick fitting arts over here, another instructor here in Hamilton is JOHN WHEATON, my instructor did some training with him.
