How many times do I have to point this out.

OAKLAND — An alleged gang member - released from federal prison weeks ago - and his getaway driver have been arrested for shooting at police officers in North Oakland, authorities said Sunday.

Benny Ray Martin, 31, fired shots at a car near 58th and Genoa streets and then unleashed more gunfire at two police officers responding to the area at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, said Officer Holly Joshi, an Oakland police spokeswoman.

The officers' car was hit, but they weren't injured and did not fire back, Joshi said.
Martin fled but was arrested in a car driven by parolee Anthony Perry, 20, of Oakland, Joshi said.

Both men were booked on suspicion of attempted murder. Perry is also being held on a parole violation. Both men are being held without bail.

Good selection of who should be kept and who should be released there guys. Your efforts have been obvious the past few months. :barf:

And yet another one...

SANDUSKY — According to Sandusky Police, officer Andrew Dunn confronted a man riding his bike on Tyler Street just after 3 a.m.

The two reportedly exchanged gunfire and Officer Dunn received multiple wounds. The suspect, Kevin J. Randleman of Sandusky, received at least one gunshot.

Almost immediately a backup officer arrived at the scene and alerted dispatchers that an officer was down.

Suspected gunman Kevin Randleman, according to the Erie County Sheriffs Office, has had trouble with the law before. He previously served time for convictions that include carrying a concealed weapon, drug trafficking, menacing and assault. In 1990, Randleman was arrested and charged with aggravated murder, but was acquitted of the charges in trial.

So before someone goes off about how somehow the police have "alienated the public" or that this is about some sort of "natural response" to police impropriety, how about we look at the ALL THE CRIMINALS THE JUSTICE SYSTEM IS PUTTING BACK ON THE STREETS!!!!!!!!!!
