Interesting site of the DEA. Obviously this section is public (even I accessed it  ). It shows pics and reports of various means that (illegal) drug dealers, smugglers, etc. try to hide their drugs for shipment/smuggling.
Though thousands, yea even unto millions of dollars of drugs get into (this) country each year the DEA shows that they are wise to the miscellaneous and often clever means in which those guys try to get their products over our borders or state-lines.
One of the interesting ways was heroin hidden inside 12 suitcase wheels.
Geez, what will they think of next? How about premeated into blankets and mixed into candy bars... on that one I shudder to think of some how a kid finding it and being a kid... unable to resist the lure of chocolate and dying.

Clicking on the website then the Microgram Bulletin links (html version) brings up various examples of how drugs were hidden. Many were typical, not too surprising, but some are quite creative and inventive for hiding places. Fingernail polish remover, even peanut butter, christmas tree skirts, candles, etc., were intriquing mediums that were shown.
