Escrima and arnis more on these two words were popular among a pocket of students in some towns or cities but had not gain so much popularity to make it a big time name as a martial arts many years ago .And most interesting is the escrima and arnis practicioners were also lovers of karate, judo and chinese art.

So most researchers made strong support that escrima and arnis is the fma because they cannot find kali in the book written by spanish influence writters.

We, in the kali world will just be happy as kali.We believe in the unwritten history. We will continue to research the real kali from the people in the hinterland, from the mountains and from every remote places in the Islands we might find Kali drifted into the shoreline.

We will only let the intellectuals understand that kali speaks for itself and to those who donot believe in the unwritten history will just stay as it is.

There is only one language in the fma" THE BLADE IS FLAT THE STICK IS ROUND,THE CHOICE IS HISTORY.
