Pekiti-Tirsia had found an excellent relationship with the Special Action Commandos of the Philippine National Police under the sound leadership of General Santiago. General Santiago is an outstanding General commanding 3,800 SAF Commandos for the entire Philippines. SAf is the life combat support system of the entire Philippine Law Enforcement organizations . the SAF main force has 6 battalions composed of young fighting men and women whose dedication is beyond the call of duty. SAF is equipped with the latest weapons technology for close quarter combat and close quarter battle.
The SAF training is almost the same with the Force Recon Marines , the difference is the doctrine of discipline in executing the orders differs in the degree of the situations.SAF has little human approach because of the nature of the functions not as military but civilians with auhtority. While the Force Recon Marines are purely military following only the order not to remember the Human rights.
SAF engagements against the enemies found in the heart of Mindanao jungle or in the heart of metro manila or other cities in different provinces makes no difference . when the mission to capture the culprits or the NPA or the Bansang Moro, the SAF fighting men will not leave until the enemy is captured or dead.
Edged Impact Weapon is the motivating factor that adds to the glamour of combat operations, In closing in the enemy silence with swiftness makes the knife effective that the enemy may not know that the lost of neck or fingers is precious to remember.
SAF heavy involvement in the training for close quarter combat , a score of effective reality using the knife makes the member of the SAF unstoppable. They often says that removing the knife of old man is a curse but when the old man removes the knife from someone arms, then it is blessing of the Almighty.
