What a wonderful irony to link these two names. These two public persona draw symbiotic attention to themselves during this past week. Both invoked "The Devil".
President Chavez, in an address before the United Nations General Assembly said the Devil addresssed the gathering the prior day, and the podium still smelled of Sulfur. He was referring to the address by President George W. Bush.
Not to be outdone, Reverend Falwell, called Hillary Clinton more motivating than 'The Devil' in fundraising and motivating his evangelical Christians. One is obligated to wonder - What Would Jesus Do?
Further irony is watching the responses from the political activists. Many of the talking heads attempt to link Chavez with the Democratic leadership, yet, remain silent on the good preacher. It is just another day in Paradise, eh?
