I agree with what Shawn said on the subject. I have been meditating for over 20 years. The key is plain and simple "Practice" I studied with a friend for a long period of time and I was able to get to a point where I could feel contact a certain moment but, still I was unable to narrow it down to a specific hit, punch, and kick. It comes from knowing your own energy and the energy from around you. The earth has its energy, you have your own energy and the attacker has its energy. Sorry if this all does not make sense its very hard to explain.
